WAITING LIST/QUEUE

Due to the number of interested parties at any given time, there is usually a waiting list (also “queue”) for projects. The order of the waiting list is first-come first-served based on customers who have made a down payment or deposit to reserve space on the list.

If your project has a deadline, you must let me know before making a deposit. I will determine whether or not I can meet your deadline based on the number of customers waiting in the queue. The order of the queue can not be adjusted. You may not shorten your deadline once it has been agreed upon.

Furthermore, if you wait to reserve your space on the queue, the queue may fill, making it impossible to meet your deadline, even if you were told earlier that your deadline could be met. This can happen in a very short period of time, so be prepared to reserve your space immediately if you have a deadline. Space on the queue will not be reserved for you without a deposit or down payment.

PAYMENT

An optional deposit of 10% of the total quoted price will reserve you space on the queue. This deposit will count toward your down payment. Keep in mind that the project can not begin until the full 30% of the down payment has been paid.

A down payment of 30% must be made before the project can begin. A down payment will reserve you space on the queue.

Both the deposit and the down payment are NON-REFUNDABLE

Payments on your project can be made in increments. If you are interested in paying in incriments, we will discuss a payment plan before your project is started. Your project will be shipped once it is paid for in full.

Unless otherwise agreed upon, items on which no payments have been made for a period of 90 days will be considered cancelled, and sold at auction with no refund to you (this does not apply to unstarted projects in the queue).

WARRANTY/RETURNS

Every project comes with a 60 day limited warranty. Repairs or replacements will be made for free within this period. Please note that the warranty will be null and void if:

- the item has been abused or used improperly

- the item has been altered in any way

- the item is soiled or has a smell, and has not been cleaned prior to return

If, for a sensible reason you are not satisfied with the work, you can return the item, and will be credited the value of the item to put toward a new item. If you absolutely do not want a new item, you may return your item and the balance will be refunded, minus the down payment.

CANCELLATION/ALTERATION

Once a project is started, changes may not be made to the design.

I may cancel the project at any time, if I feel that the customer is too difficult to work with, or if I end up faced with illness, injury, or personal tragedy that may prevent me from completing your project.

The customer may cancel the project at any time. The balance can be refunded without the deposit, or may be credited toward another project. I reserve the right to complete the cancelled project any way I choose and sell it at auction.

STYLE AND LIMITATIONS

In the case of character and creature related projects, I am most experienced with realistic and artistically stylized designs. The items that I produce are typically made with modern methods, and may not be accurate to particular time periods.

I will not reproduce copyrighted characters, costumes, or designs without prior written consent of the company or individual who owns the character or design.

Some designs may be physically impossible to reproduce. If this is the case, I will suggest the closest physically possible alternative.

Please keep in mind that concept art may not be able to be reproduced in a costume exactly as it was drawn, due to human proportion, human flaw, limitations of materials, and limitations of physics. Designs will be reproduced as closely as possible, and any significant alterations will be discussed with you first.
