+ YOU AREN'T TAKING ORDERS RIGHT NOW, BUT CAN I RESERVE A SLOT FOR THE FUTURE?

No, we can't book new orders far in advance, and we do not maintain a waiting list. If you need a costume in a hurry, please see the question below for rush orders.

+ I LIVE OUTSIDE THE USA, CAN I STILL ORDER?

Yes! We ship to most countries worldwide, and work with international customers on a regular basis.

+ DO YOU TAKE RUSH ORDERS?

Yes, we can take rush orders. Rush fees range from 50% - 300% depending on the time constraints and scope of the project. Availability for rush slots is still limited, so please allow as much time as possible for your project to be completed.

+ DO YOU HAVE COSTUMES FOR RENT?

No, at this time we do not have rental stock.

What Can We Make?

+ CAN I ORDER A COPY OF A COSTUME THAT YOU MADE IN THE PAST?

If the costume is a natural-looking animal, we can make more of those. However, we do not have reproduction rights for many of the characters that we have made. If one of our past works inspires you, let us know and we can probably help you design something original.

+ CAN YOU MAKE A COSTUME OF A CHARACTER FROM A MOVIE OR VIDEO GAME?

We can do this with written permission from the copyright holder.

+ I WANT A SUIT IN A MORE CARTOON OR MASCOT STYLE, CAN YOU DO THAT?

No, we prefer to work in realistic, whimsical and horror styles, as seen in our gallery of past work.

+ IF I GET A QUOTE, DO I HAVE TO PLACE AN ORDER?

No, there is no commitment if you ask for a quote.

+ DO I NEED TO SUBMIT REFERENCE IMAGES, CONCEPT ART, OR MODEL SHEETS?

No, reference images are not required - you can leave the details or the entire design up to us. However, if you want us to recreate a specific design, then you must submit references - the more clear and accurate the reference images, the more accurately we can represent the character.

+ WHEN WILL YOU BE TAKING NEW ORDERS/COMMISSIONS?

Information about when we will open for new orders is posted on the front page of this site, and at the top of this page. Updates are also posted on Twitter, our blog, and via our newsletter.

+ HOW DO I KNOW IF ORDERS ARE OPEN?

At the time and date specified, an order application form will appear on the front page of the website. The opening time will be announced via social media, and newsletter. Order applications close after 24 hours, and the application form will become unavailable.

Payments

+ WHAT FORMS OF PAYMENT DO YOU ACCEPT?

We accept Paypal, and credit/debit cards (processed via Paypal). For customers in the USA, we can also accept check or money order.

+ WHEN DO I PAY?

If you receive a slot, you will be notified, and we will send you an invoice. Do not sent any payment unless you have received an invoice.

+ DO YOU OFFER A PAYMENT PLAN?

Yes - we require a 30% down payment (or $100, whichever is greater), after which we can accept monthly payments of 10% (or $100, whichever is greater). This is a layaway-style payment plan, so the project must be paid in full before it is shipped.

+ WHAT ARE MY CHANCES OF GETTING AN ORDER SLOT?

There are lots of factors. First is the number of applicants, which can't be predicted, but usually it is upward of 50. We can only take a handful of projects at a time (generally 4-8).
Next, there is extra priority on projects that we are very excited to make, and also for people who have applied in the past, but were not picked. The more times you have applied, the more likely we are to pick you.
Bear in mind, not many people get picked on the first try, so do not feel like you did something wrong, or that we don't want to work with you if you don't make it.

+ I SUBMITTED AN APPLICATION; WHEN WILL I KNOW WHETHER OR NOT I GOT A SLOT?

After the application window closes, we begin the process of selecting projects from the application pool. This is a long and difficult process which generally takes at least a day. We will send emails to all applicants, with a yes or no notice.

+ I GOT A QUOTE AND YOU APPROVED MY PROJECT, WHEN WILL YOU START WORK?

The quote and approval involves no commitment - it is not an order. You must apply for an order slot when we open.

+ I AM TRYING TO GET/GOT A COMMISSION SLOT; IS THE ESTIMATED COMPLETION TIME GUARANTEED?

We will give a good-faith estimate of completion for a production batch, but this is subject to change if we encounter delays from illness, material shortages, personal emergencies, etc. The project ETA is a best guess, and is not to be considered a deadline, promise, or guarantee.

+ I NEED TO RECEIVE THE WORK BY A SPECIFIC DATE, BUT IT IS AROUND OR AFTER THE ESTIMATED COMPLETION TIME. CAN I BE SURE YOU WILL MEET MY DEADLINE?

We will meet any specific deadline for a fee. If the agreed upon deadline is after the initial ETA, the fee will likely be 30% or less. If the deadline is prior to the initial ETA, the project may have to be counted as a rush project, subject to rush fees. You must arrange your deadline with us when you place your order.

About the Costumes

+ ARE THE COSTUMES MADE FROM REAL FUR?

No, we do not use fur pelts to produce our costumes. However, we do sometimes use animal-derived materials, such as: leather, real animal hair - horse hair, wool crepe, mohair - and feathers in our costumes. We can avoid animal-derived materials by request.

+ HOW DO YOU SEE OUT OF THE HEADS?

In most designs, the vision holes are the "tearducts" - the dark corners on the insides of the eyes.

+ CAN YOU MAKE A HEAD THAT FITS OVER GLASSES?

In many cases, heads will fit over glasses. You would need to provide measurements of your glasses. We highly recommend sports glasses - the kind you'd wear under a football helmet - with an anti-fog coating.
